They refer to themselves as a “home grown indie-folk outfit from GR that defies musical stereotypes. Out of Favor Boys is one of Southwest Michigan’s premier contemporary blues bands. They’ve been the house band at two of Kalamazoo’s longest-lasting Thursday Blues Jams at Wonderful’s Funky Basement and The 411 Club. All proceeds will go to the Kalamazoo Gay Lesbian Resource Center (KGLRC) to support LGBT programs and events throughout Southwest Michigan.
