Fall Fab Fest

Fall Fab Fest is a lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender and ally (LBGTA) welcome event co-coordinated and co-sponsored by the Western Michigan University Office of Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, and Transgender Student Services, the Kalamazoo Gay Lesbian Resource Center (KGLRC), Community AIDS Resource and Education Services (CARES) and CARES’s program Team Friendly. Everyone is welcome at this fabulous event with free food, fun, games, music, and prizes! This event has been crafted with students from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kalamazoo College, and Western Michigan University specifically in mind, but everyone is welcome! Local organizations and resources that are supportive of the LBGTA community will be present distributing both information about their organization and free swag! All of the information available will help individuals as they transition to being students and community members in the Kalamazoo area. Ignacio Rivera will be our keynote speaker this year. As a dynamic and experienced keynote, Ignacio will be speaking about community action and civic engagement.
